Anyway..taking a critical look at 9ja today,we’ll discover that we gat ”company” ofcouse we have some guys in our midst..and these guys have sent many people to their early graves.. If You are based in a Metropolitan 9ja city..u’ll probably know what i’m talking about. These guys are now a ready means of transportation across naija.
Dont Bother Having a mental drill on yourself..These guys are no other than OKADA(Motorcyles)Infact..i can authoritatively say that they are the New Face of Transport in Naija(Just kidding)They are everywhere..from the North to the South,East-West..They are countless numbers of commercial motorbikes in Nigeria. I asked a Road Safety Officer sometime ago to tell me the number of Okada(s) in Nigeria..He smiled saying..Can you count the number of Hair on your head?I asked no further. Okada is now an alternative means of transportat is money”
I have asked a whole lot of people about the possibility of Nigerians doing without Okada..Can we survive without Okada?Is it possible for a typical Nigerian to do without Okada?…Well,i doubt it O! For we are all in the fast lane,always in a Hurry..having in mind that we are habitual latecomers(African-time syndrome)…Can we let go of Okada?This is a question i wish i could answer…but alas..i’m already contemplating of hopping on the next available bike..NO TIME!
